Designing The Connected Home
This session explores critical design elements and installation methods of technology within a smart home from a high level perspective. The evolution of technology has led to the development of a vast number of smart products available in the market from speakers through to motorised blinds. We will discuss how these products can be used together creatively to create designs and deliver experiences that will “wow” your clients.
Cabling For The Integrated Home
This session explores how technology impacts our daily lives and what people mean when they use the term “Smart Home”. We discuss popular ways media is consumed and how it differs in quality. We explore how common materials used in construction can impact user experience. Finally we cover practical wiring requirements in terms of physical space allocation, room layouts and location requirements for different technologies.
